What graphic format are the VASL boards created with? I’d like to do some experimenting but have no idea how to access them for editing.
They are zip files that contain a .gif of the displayable map image, plus various binary files contains the LOS and terrain information.

Thanks Brent. I’ve got it now. I was going to edit the non-paved roads color but now see that it would screw up the SSR functions.
The non-paved roads are very light compared to the level 0 ground color when looking through my eyes. I guess I’m slightly color blind and I have to look very hard to see them. They are almost invisible. Be nice to darken them a touch but now see that’s not possible. I can live with it.
