# Vassal 3.2.7, Windows 8 and the Vassal Preferences file

@uckelman will we check another options?

I’ve read ( [https://forum.vassalengine.org/t/preferences-file-problems/6142/1](https://forum.vassalengine.org/t/preferences-file-problems/6142/1) ) that you are going to change Preference file.  
I suppose that it will be in next release of VASSAL. Am I right?  
What is the better way in my case - downgrade to stable version (for me 3.2.6) or should I use 3.2.7 with this small (?) error?  
How many problems could this error cause?
