I have downloaded modules and added extensions and about 2-3 weeks later I launch Vassal from my desktop and there are no modules. I have to re download all modules again and extensions. This has happened to me twice and others that I play with. Can someone help me with this?
I recall having had this happen once or twice, but not for a long while.
The modules and extensions will still be on your machine; it’s the entries in Module Manager that are disappearing. You shouldn’t have to
re-download anything. Just launch Vassal and then Open the module you want to play on the File menu.
I tried going to file menu and launching from there, but I have no idea where the modules are located? What area of my computer would they be stored in? It just happened again from last night to this morning when I launched Vassal.

Unless you moved the modules after downloading them, they are still
in the directory to which you downloaded them.

I keep having game files delete from my VASSAL program. I try to download the file again from my directory and it will not. I try to save the file on my PC and it will not load on VASSAL. I can only get it to function if I open it on my PC and I have no flaming Idea where its being downloaded to and then after a few uses it deletes and vanishes again. HELP!!

There should be a find function that’s part of your OS. You could use
that to determine where modules are being downloaded to.
