Vassal on Wikipedia

Has anyone seen the Wikipedia article already? Some further informations would be nice. I think we should mention Rodney and VASL/ASL at least. ;)

If anyone knows of any sort of article that mentions Vassal (and hopefully says something meaningful about it), it would be a great help for the Wiki entry.

BTW does anyone know how many people use VASSAL? How many have downloaded the latest version?

Did you know that already over 500 modules are available?

Thus spake “Skorpio”:

Brent and I were discussing this a few weeks ago. I’m going to take a wild
guess and say that you’ll never have more than 20% of all users of a piece
of software who will download a beta. As of right now, there have been 1097
downloads of 3.1.0-beta3, so on that basis I’d estimate that we have maybe
5000-6000 users. We’ll have a better idea once 3.1.0 is released and we see
how many people download that.

Version 5 of V40k had over 7000 downloads in total before we released V5.1 if that helps, V5.1 had over 2000 last I looked, that was released on 4th October,

Thus spake “Dezartfox”:

Wow. In that case, I would guess we have in excess of 10000 users.
