VASSAL server moved to new network

On the evening of 26 December, I moved the VASSAL web server over to the long-awaited new network. We have about 3.5x the outgoing bandwidth, and 4x the incoming bandwidth as we had before. This should take care of our network congestion problem, and make the site noticeably more responsive and downloads quite a bit faster.

Woo Hoo! It sure does! Just downloaded a 35 MB file waaaayyyy faster. Thanks for the nice post Christmas present

Agreed. I am seeing much better response also, just from reaidng the boards.

Many thanks to the VASSAL workers!!

The new network is much faster, and for that I am thankful. But the message has been on the main site and forums for over a month now - is it time to take that down?

To which message are you referring?

This one:
“Welcome to our new site! Because we have just moved, there might be problems with the site. If you find any, please tell the webmaster so they can be fixed.”

Follow-up: The Just Moved message is gone now.
