Which fields can interpret an html href? Java beans? Ajax?

I seem to remember sometime ago (pre forums) a discussion about piece traits that actually made external html href references to their values (images, properties?). I was wondering if that is correct? Is it possible to reference external web pages for piece information.

Following that thought, will the java bean addition planned for 3.2 enable references to cgi/jsp servers? Ajax, too? JSF(faces)?

I don’t think you’ll be able to do anything more complicated than referencing an external image, although of course VASSAL won’t care at all what’s running on the server that’s hosting the image.
