White Space Too Large.

I have a module that opens with the space between the map and the menu bar is too large. The space is adjustable by grabbing the bar at the space’s base and moving it up, but is there a way to adjust the amount of space when the module opens?

What would the correct amount of space be?

Smaller…

The module is not and cannot be posted. I just uploaded it to VASSAL, but not to the module pages. It is Cemetery Hill, an SPI module that I made for someone. Here is the URL for the upload. http://www.vassalengine.org/wiki/File:Cemetery_Hill2.vmod

The white space is about 4 inches when it opens the map is about 4-1/2 inches and menu about 3/4 inch. On other modules, the white space is only about 1 to 2 inches. I would like to reduce the space on this module to about the same as others.

Smaller…

In this case, “smaller” is too imprecise.

I’ve tried for at least three complete evenings (including this one)
over the past few years to find a solution to this problem which works
well enough to put into a release. I’m not interested in sinking more
time into it when you have a trival workaround (moving the divider) and
none of the elements causing the problem will exist in VASSAL 4.

Sorry, didn’t mean to cause you grief! Es tut mir leid.

I thought that there may have been an easy thing to check or adjust. When I Imported the module from ADC2, it just came out that way. Other imports had smaller areas.

Not a problem.

I’m not scolding you; I was only providing an explanation for why this
is unlikely to be fixed in V3.2.
