GM’ing is a lot of work and mistakes happen (no problem) so it’s important that we as players always state everything we do here in the thread…otherwise it’s difficult to stay updated as players…well it is for me

CCTAP 1/3/2 2/0/0 After Taking Secondary on Tech.
In negotiations with Xcha over what to do with assembly. This may affect what I do with leadership’s secondary. Sorry for the confusion but certain of my plans went to crap after the Ghosts didn’t play trade on turn one (something about a misunderstanding of rules on tech specialties on exhausted planets).
Tech secondary came before you played Assembly, so you cannot pay 3 trade goods for the tech.
I got an extra trade good from the Saar.
Zero needs to make a ruling on this. I’m not sure if you had any agreed negotiations before the technology card was played, but for the sake of simplifying the game, I think you should only spend the resources you have at the time the card is played. I understand you might be new though, and I made plenty of mistakes when first starting out - so I’m willing to let it go through.
Per the main rule book on page 25.
“Players are allowed to give other players trade goods from their Race Sheet at any time.”
The Saar were able to give me the trade good before I decided to exercise the secondary on tech.
For the record: Yin pass on Tech and Assembly secondaries.
My apologies you’re OK! I got ahead of myself and thought the Saar had transferred it in a tactical action prior to your turn. Anyway choose the player to read out the PC and disregard my absent mindedness!

Just to make sure we go by the rules: Thaylen you were technically not allowed to wait with your decision on Leadership secondary for your negotiations with Xxcha regarding Assembly. At the time where you were required to decide on leadership you didn’t even know which political cards you were going to draw.

One of the problems of playing on a forum I suppose. I wasn’t trying to game the system, I was just trying to keep the game moving rather than keep everyone waiting while I was haggling back and forth via PM with others. The card I am playing was in my hand from the beginning of the game.
I do see your point though.

Quick update…I PM’ed this to the GM because I wasn’t around much yesterday evening, but I exhausted Creuss and spent 2 TG to get Gravity Drives from Tech second, so Ghosts count is currently 1/3/2 – 0/0/2 and I currently have no unexhausted influence.
