Zones

Hi,

I think I don’t manage to get zones work.

Here is my story.

On the main map / main board, I have an irregular grid with lots of regions that pieces snap to.

In the same board, I would like to have other zones where pieces are not attracted ot regions.

But I tried a multi-zoned grid and other things, but could not manage to do what I wanted.

In the end, I added another board next to the first one, but this is not really what I want. Boards are of rectangular shapes so they are not really ideal to design the different areas/zones which can be of various shapes.

Can you point me in the right direction? Is there a sample module somewhere which has a board with two zones (one with multigrid and snapping regions and one with nothing in it)?

Nicolas.

Unfortunately a board can only have a single grid of one type.

Not so.

A board can have different grids within a multi-zone grid. This requires you to define multiple zones (making sure they do not overlap), then defining the grid type within each defined zone.
There are quite a number of modules that do this

Thx.

An example of module please.

Successors III is an example mixing a lot of Irregular grid zones with a few rectangular grid zones
