I’m an absolute newbie about 18xx games, and would like to participate in a play by email game to learn the ropes of it. I’ve seen that a couple of learning games have happened and was hoping that someone would be able to lend me a helping hand on this!

18AL is one of the versions that is supposed to be “newbie friendly” and is available on Vassal - I’ve only played once previously and it was using a different online system - but if you’re still interested in trying it out through PBEM I wouldn’t mind seeing if we can figure it out together
