When you enable “deck zoom” in the stack viewer, it always shows the piece regardless of masking. So if a card is face down, it will be revealed by the viewer. Unfortunately, it is nice to have the zoom capability for viewing the discard pile. The zoom view is properly implemented on drawn, but masked cards, so my assumption is that this is a bug.

Yes, just tried now with the draw deck in Memoir '44 10.8r2 in VASSAL 3.2.3. The mouseover viewer shows the card face up where it should be face down.
This is what I get in 3.2.3 with the Memoir '44 10.8r2 module. The card is shown in the mouseover viewer as if it was drawn, not as it is in the deck. The deck shows the card background, the mouseover viewer shows a card hidden (masked) from the opponent only. This is not the behavior I would expect from a face down deck.

Yes, fixed in 3.2.5-8657. For Memoir '44 Module at least.
