Noob question: in the module editor, how do I add images? I tried searching the web and reading the reference manual, but I still don’t know what to do. I’m using VASSAL 3.2.6.
For clarification, I want to know how to add images, not game piece images.

To what do you want to add images? Pieces? Maps?

@uckelman
I want to add images to game pieces.
Look at the Basic Piece trait on any game piece you’ve defined. You
can add images for single-sided pieces there.

How do I edit Basic Piece traits?
Double click the trait or image if there is one to open it up/change it
When I double-click the game piece image, a window opens that has a blank image named image0, but I can’t figure out how to change it to a different image.

I think you’re in the wrong place in the editor. Could you post a
screenshot showing what you said above?

You’re not in the correct part of the module tree. “Game Piece Image
Definitions” is for composing images within VASSAL, not for importing
pre-existing images. Where you should be looking is under “Game Piece
Palette”. Create a piece there, then look in the Properties dialog for
that piece.

It’s working. Thank you, uckelman and Tim!
