would like to know some popular games to play. i am new to vassal but a fairly experienced gamer. please help 
After you run the Vassal engine. On the Menu bar click on Tools, the checkbox Server Status. On the right side of the window you will see a window divider that you can drag over. (i wish it would stay set) This is your Server Status window. Hit the refresh button at the top. And you can see what people are currently playing. It will show play history back a month. Look at the numbers and you will see which games are the most popular. Battlestar Galactica FFG, Game of Thrones, Star Wars X-wing Miniatures Game… always have very high numbers.
