According to the FAQ, the previous player must resign before a new one can join a PBEM game as the same side. Is there any way to bypass this, since the previous player might not be reachable anymore?
you won’t be able to take the missing players “Side”. If you are playing a game with no hidden information or restricted commands. you should be able to play as ‘Observer’.
Unfortunately the game has hidden information (Virgin Queen).
There is a method for doing this, but for obvious reasons it’s not publicized and isn’t something the average user is going to be able to discover on their own. I have replied to you on Discord with what I’ll need to free up the player side for you.
