CCA: Custom visialization

Hello,
I recently downloaded Vassal and the modules for Comamnd and Colors:Ancients. However all text is terribly small and very demanding on the eyes. I couldn’t find any option for increasing the fonts, icluding the Help information.
Another issue is that the board map and the counters can’t be increased as much as I would like but I guess that the reason for that is the copyright of the game.
Please, advise me how to enlarge the ‘operational part’ of the module - Help info, on-going info., right-click options for activation of units, etc.

p.s. I love the game but not so much as to damage my eyes

Both issues can be addressed by zooming in further. Look for the
magnifying glass icons in the toolbar.

Thanks but I have the impression that the zooming through the magnifying glass icon is aplicable only to the map and the cards. It doesn’t have effect on the text fields.

To which text fields are you referring?

J.

The multi colour operational text field and the action-options of the units. The C&C Users guide as well.

For the context menus, what you’re seeing is Java’s default “Dialog”
font. We’ve been using that in context menus pretty much forever. We
could change it to use the font set by the LookAndFeel for context
menus—but yours is the first complaint I recall seeing about this in
8 years, and changing this now could affect modules which were depending
on the font being small. I need to get people’s opinions before making
this change.

Documentation will be displayed differently in VASSAL 4, so what you’re
seeing with the module user’s guide will stop being a problem then.
