The Player Hand section of the VASSAL Reference Manual contains the following slightly mis-leading statement:
“The main difference between a Player Hand and a normal Private Window is that in a Player Hand, the contents are automatically laid out in a row instead of stacking like counters.”
I suggest that this sentence is replaced with something along these lines:
“The main difference between a Player Hand and a normal Private Window is that in a Player Hand, a stack of pieces appears as a row.”
