Many of you may know (or know of) Dean Essig, the founder of The Gamers and designer of many of their games, including the Operational Combat Series and Civil War Brigade Series. His wife Sara was recently diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, and there’s been a GoFundMe set up to help them with expenses.
I’ve gotten a lot of joy over the years playing Dean’s games (often via VASSAL), and I expect that many people here have as well. The link to the GoFundMe is here below, for anyone who wants to contribute.
