download hangs up

Hi folks

I’m trying to download the new version of VASSAL, but when it gets to 3.1 megs, it stalls and will go no further.

I’ve tried several times with the same result.

(Firefox, Mac OSX.4.11)

This is a known problem with auto-updating the Web Start files on Mac OS. To solve the hanging problem, open Web Start (‘javaws’ from a command window) go to the preferences and delete the temporary internet files.
