Fitting the hex grid to my map scan

Hi,

I’m the developer who has done the most work on hex grids.

You have not finished adjusting the grid size correctly.

If you used the ‘Set Grid Size’ function, and clicked on three points to set the grid size, this will only ever give you an approximate result. You need to fine-tune the resulting grid in size (Control-arrow keys) and position (arrow keys) to get a perfect fit.

You have correctly adjust the horizontal size. Now you need to use the Control-down key to adjust the vertical size.
