Not sure where to post this. It is not a problem with Vassel but a problem in the C&C V5 beta.
Line Inf should not be able to fire over the hill. Both units are on different sides
of the ridge.
The module would permit the fire combat to happen.

Thanks for the report but I’m afraid it’s not so much a bug as a limitation. The module does not have ability to detect Line of Sight, so players need to handle that themselves.
If any C&C Nap / hex maths enthusiasts happen to read this who have Java ability I would love to collaborate on this missing feature! @Brent_Easton’s GTS modules’ custom code for Terrain Recording might form the foundation for something simplified but able to handle dynamic layouts such as required for C&C.
That is a very deep rabbit hole to start down.
