I have a saved France '40 game. When I open the .vsav file, it doesn’t seem to recognize the game and ask me if I want to observe or solo and it doesn’t recognize that we are playing the combined game. Any clues as to what I’ve done. Actually my friend started the game so I’m asking for a copy of his saved file to see if that makes a difference.
One possibility–I’d go so far as to say likelihood–is that you’ve resumed play on a different computer than what you started with. Your personal module password on the computer you’re using does not match the password locking your player side in the .vsav file.
If you play using multiple computers, your module password must be identical in all places to maintain consistent access to your player side.
