A change in v3.6 delivered the wonderful ability to position Action Buttons via a graphical interface. Previously Action Button positioning could take a while the user figured out where the offsets and dimensions would put the button in relation to the underlying piece.
A similar challenge exists for positioning Text Labels e.g. as reported here and also for Layers.
A GUI tool, perhaps based on the Action Button code (???), would help considerably, especially for producing complex pieces such as the one discussed in that thread.
