Can someone help me.
I have some programming experience so a nudge in the right direction should be enough.
Something has altered in the herooquest vmod.
I used to be able as Zarkon to open and close doors on the map and interact with furniture. I would set up an invisible map and then reveal it as the heroes explored.
In the latest updates all the furniture and doors are non-existent as far as my mouse is concerned once the mouse is clicked anywhere other than where the furniture/door is placed.
I believe there must be a flag or definition that needs to be altered to maintain the furniture and doors under my possession.
The inability to make invisible furniture visible or alter doors is merely mild inconvenience becasue i can just place stuff as its viewed.
the major fault is that I am unable to run a continuous campaign because I cannot remove furniture once it has been placed…to start the next mission.
If i quit and reload the players lose their inventory and treasure cards they possess return to the deck.
It doesnt appear to be a general fault because I can move figures…this lead me to the thought above…if the figures can be identified as things that i can interact with then it should be possible t0 identify the furniture and doors similarly.
This might be a problem on levels with things that move in the expansions.
anybody with experience with vassal that might be able to clue me in with how the logic works for these things would be much appreciated. My programming experience is in assembly and C/C++ for embedded systems and verilog Modeling software for FPGA boards.
