How does one contact the moderators?

About a week ago I submitted a new version of the “Carrier Battle: Philippine Sea” module. I am worried that I somehow failed to actually submit it, because nothing has happened since then.

If it is because the moderators have plenty to catch up, that is all right, but if I need to resubmit the file, I would like to know.

What is the official way to contact the moderators?

I haven’t approved the edit because there’s not been a corresponding edit to the module page which links to that file.

I see. All the other times I have only edited the module page when the file has been approved, in order to avoid linking to an unapproved file.

But OK, I’ll prepare the edit of the page.

Would I have had some way of knowing this if I had not written here?

The module page has now been edited with the new module. Because the module has not been approved yet, it is marked as “CB -Philippine Sea Ver-1.5.vmod” does not exist".

I believe this is mentioned in the page editing instructions.

Anyway, it won’t be like this once we’ve switched to the new module library in a few weeks.

Thank you very much!

You need to grab some credit for all the work you did on the module. Heck you probably have more code in the module that I do by now. You deserve the accolades!

Thanks, Kevin, but I think you underestimate your own contribution. The huge work of preparing all the counters, maps, and designing clever solutions for a number of tricky design problems is something that I can hardly match.
And I have put myself in as a contributor.

I know of no other hobby where so many people are doing so much work for free, or nearly free, from game designers to managers of places like vassalengine.org. And the game companies largely seem to support it all without trying to make extra money out of it.
