How is the Vassal engine project funded?

I have searched for info regarding how the Vassal engine project is funded, but so far I haven’t found anything.

If there is publicly-available info on this topic, I would be grateful for a pointer.

I am not seeking proprietary info.

As far as I know, it’s all funded by voluntary participation and donation. There’s a ‘Donate’ link at the bottom of the home page.

The project is funded by donations. Here’s a link to information about donating.

Donations pay for hosting the site and yearly domain name registraiton; we appreciate any contributions users can make toward that.
