Imagesaver class marked for Removal?

I was looking at the VASSAL.build.module.map.ImageSaver class in 3.7.0 recently and I note that it is marked as Deprecated for Removal. If I understand correctly, this applies to the whole class and not just a method or two?

Do you have a timeline for it’s removal? We make use this class in VASL and will need to adjust accordingly.

I did have some questions about how to work with this class as we want to make some changes to what we do now but first I need to know if we are going to have a class to work with.

Hi Doug,

I am not seeing that. I see one field and one static method marked as Deprecated, not the whole class.

I must have misunderstood what the deprecation notice applied to.
