Hello to the Vassal Community! I’m new to the Vassal system, but not to war games.
I’ve been playing both board and PC-based games for 30+ years! 
Cut my teeth on Avalon Hill’s “War at Sea” when I was in my teens… and never looked back! I guess I would describe myself as a “mature” player. 
I was rummaging around in my attic recently and came across an old AH classic - 1776. It brought back lots of fond memories of playing the Campaign Game via “snail mail” and using the newspaper stock listings to generate dice rolls.
So… I’ve dusted off the game and have started an “Opponent Wanted” thread here: viewtopic.php?f=7&t=7732#p46813
