Issues with Zoom Capability in Vassal 3.7.12

I’ve run across an issue with the Zoom Capability trait on a Map Window. I don’t know if this is a bug or if this behavior is by design.

I have several maps where I wanted to change the zoom icons and zoom levels. In the past, if I recall correctly, I could do this on one map window and then just copy that zoom capability over to the other map windows, deleting the old one if a map window had one.

Yesterday, I found that I could copy a zoom capability from one map but I couldn’t paste onto another map window. And I couldn’t delete the zoom capability off of a window to see if that helped.

One window did not have a zoom capability and I was able to paste a new one to that window but now that’s it’s there, it can’t be deleted either.

Is this a bug?

There was a change at some point to make certain map items un-deletable. I think this also made some non-copyable. @Brent_Easton might be able to shed some light.
