When I save a module where some pieces have their layers at something other than the first layer and then load the saved game at a later time, all the levels are reset to level one.
Have you tried contacting the module’s maintainer?
If you login to the module’s page (assuming it has one), you may find a contact route there.
Disregard, I forgot I reset the pieces after a change in the mod.
