I would like to see these features in a future release:

Add the system properties “currentTime” and “currentTimestamp” (the former showing only the current time, the latter date and time, preferably in ISO format), or alternatively a single funtion with content that can be formatted dynamically, e. g. via a Global Property setting. This would be useful in creating custom messages, in particular when using VASSAL for prototype testing.

Add a tool to export the content of the log panel to a text file (plain text is sufficient). This would work similar to the Text Capture tool but simply write the complete content of the log panel instead of a snapshot report. (Current obvious workaround: Select all text, then copy/paste using OS functions)
