Hi im leaving in a gmt+3 time zone and i woud like to find opponents for mostly light games like Hannibal Rome vs Carthage, Combat Commander, Conflict of Heroes etc. Most complex game i played was a No retreat game and i am not keen onto play something even more complex rulewise. I only play live and if i can find a reliable opponent we could play many different games.

I have not played those games but Commands & Colors is my favorite type of games and really simple (and they are CDG), in fact Battle of Hoth is the newest game and the most simple but really really fun.
They are a lot of c&c games, historical, fantasy or both mixed like samurai battles (one of the best for me).
if you want to test it, I can play with you. We can play Battlelore 2nd, samurai battles, napoleonics or ANCIENTS which is Rome vs Carthage thematic.
You learn to play in 30 min and the game are like 1 hour more or less. Battle of Hoth games are like 30 min

the Commands & Colors Ancients VASSAL tournament is running now, and you can review logfiles of the matches if you like.
I note you are in a GMT +3 timezone, which is potentially in Russia. There has been a clampdown recently in cross border VASSAL play between Russia and non-Russian opponents. We have several Russian players in the tournament that have used a VPN to get around this, but you might also find it convenient to play Russian opponents (of which there are quite a number in the tournament. Let me know if you want contact with them (and again, I’m assuming a lot based on timezone).
