Long time gamer and Civil War enthusiast. Any favorite CW game suggestions?
I enjoy GMT’s For the People. Strategic, not tactical. But a lot of fun.
SPIs War Between the States is great. I only played it once, back in the 70s, and found it to be very immersive. The Division/Corps/Army system was especially enjoyable, as well as production. Would love to play it again.
GMT’s The US Civil War is a neat Strategic game; unlike We the People it doesn’t have a political dimension. I have been playing it on Vassal for about two years and have learned it pretty well. For Tactical and short for an evening live Vassal play, I think Battle Cry 150th Anniversary Edition is a heck of a lot of fun.
