Module Not Recognising New Image for Card Backs

Hi all

I have changed the images for a set of cards in a module I’m working on. The front face of the cards have all changed perfectly, but they were slightly smaller than the old card fronts. So I made a slightly smaller reverse-side and added that to the Mask command I had in a Prototype I had made for the cards.

However, the old reverse-side image remains at the old size. There’s nothing I seem able to do that will force the module to recognise the new image at the new size.

Anybody have any ideas?

Best wishes.

Don

Did you changed the filenames? I’m not sure if VASSAL does a check if the image is different to that included in the module or just if the filename already exists.

Thus spake Jonas-:

It sounds like the new imagese have different filenames, and the cards
which haven’t updated are in a saved game or log.

Thank you both. I ran the saved game updater and now all is well - you were right, uckelman. I have authored 6 modules and never came across this problem before.

What is odd is that the card fronts changed fine without having to run the updater, just not the backs.

Thanks again.
