modules load super slow or dont load at all

hi i’m experiencing this problem since i installed vassal , modules are loaded super slow(like ten minutes), or didnt loaded at all

OS: Windows 7 64 bit
CPU: amd phenom II x4 955 3,20 ghz
Memory: 4GB
Video: Igforce gtx 650
VASSAL: 3.2.15
Java: ver 8 update 45
Module: mostly the last updated x wing module

I’ve noticed that in your File → Preferences, you have 256 set as you minimum memory heap and 512 as your max. So, it’s likely that your just trying to run a big module in a little box. Try increasing your minimum to 2048 (2 gigs) and your max at 3072 (3 gigs). See if that solves your problem.
