The module implements Avalon Hill Games Company’s D-Day - Smithsonian Edition. It is part of the American History series developed by AHGC and the Smithsonian. This game is a simpler edition of the classic AHGC D-Day game.
There are two modules
- 1943 scenario: Counter-factual early invasion of continental Europe in the summer of 1943
- 1944 scenario: Invasion of continental Europe in the summer of 1944
The module implements some automatic actions, and includes a PDF of the rules (via the Help menu). All text and graphics are entirely new. A print’n’play version is available in many different formats from https://gitlab.com/wargames_tex/sdday_tex (the module is made from the same LaTeX sources as the print’n’play version).
