New module load never seems to finish loading splash image

Using 3.5.5 on Linux.

A couple of times now I have tried to load a new module and the splash image never finishes loading. However I mean the dialog listing the files as they are being loaded just sits there. When I finally give up, everything seems fine.

I should say the last module I saw this on was the 2.4.1 version of Britannia.

Would you post the full errorLog from one of these runs?
