New to Vassal. I don't see the right handside panel

Hi there,

I’m new at vassal. I just joined in order to play Twilight Struggle.

The thing is I was watching this video to lean how to play:

and when the guy clicks on server status he gets a right panel where he can presumably see lots of players and games, rooms & stuff.

I don’t. Don’t I have to connect or setup the server somewhere?
