New to Vassal

Hey fellas,

I was watching a youtube video from “Games From The Front” about the game “Where Eagles Dare” and he mention this site Vassal. He was doing a video on the grand campaign. So my questions are since new to Vassal is?

  1. What is Vassal?

  2. Is it a site that i can download war games to my PC to play?

  3. Is there a cost to download and play the games?

  4. How can i play the games on my pc?

I’m new to this site and it looked very cool seeing the board game on the PC.

never mind, just saw a youtube video from quills 18 on Vassal and what the site was all about.
