OCS Baltic Gap Module - Joining Sides Issue

I am using the version 3.0 RC3 module for Baltic Gap. I am the Soviet side and picked that side and I did my set up then sent the vsav file to my opponent. My opponent has sent back the German set up but although it has me on the Soviet side I cannot see the Soviet units as they are masked on hidden by FOW as are the Germans. Is there anything I can do to retreive this.

Try having your opponent resign his side and send you back the save file.
