Interested in starting a couple of games. Anyone available for PBEM or live session games of The Russian Campaign, Bitter Woods, Waterloo, Afrika Korps, Breakout Normandy, or Washington’s War?

Hi Bennie - I can do Bitter Woods live. I have the AH edition, No idea what changes L3 made with their v4 edition which seems to be what the modules are based on.

I know the Russian Campaign. It’s been many years since I last played (1980’s), and am familiar wth Afrika Korps (played twice in the 1970’s).

I’m interested in Bitter Woods, but willing to learn any of the others. Will need scans or PDFs of the rules.

The module Afrika Korps (3rd Ed.) - shameless self-plug :smile: - contains the rules as a PDF available by Help→Show the rules.

You can also find the rules (as well as board, counters, charts, etc.) at BoardGameGeek - also by me - as well as from LATΕΧ Print’n’Play Wargames→Games.

The above module comes in two flavours

  • Colourful where counters are colour-coded according to their nationality
  • Ol’School which uses NATO colours - friendly for Allied formations, and hostile for Axis formations, and a colour scheme closer to the original.

The module also has a fair bit of (optional) automations - for example calculation of combat odds, including terrain and feature effects.
