PAGE_DOWN key (step forward through logfile) question/issue

Hi,

I’m using VASSAL 3.2.15 with VASL 6.2.1. JAVA version 1.8.0_31.

I run VASL in VASSAL with the split window function because I have dual monitors. I keep the map on my main monitor and the controls and counters on the 2nd monitor.

The step forward through logfile button (PAGE_DOWN key) is now on the map window where before it was on the controls window. Love this feature! Too bad it doesn’t work.

I open a game and I can hit any of the hotkeys for any of the buttons such as zoom in/out, LOS tool, etc and they work as expected. When I hit PAGE_DOWN to step forward through the logfile, all it does is scroll the map down. The step forward button works as expected when I click on it, but it doesn’t work when I hit PAGE_DOWN.

If I run VASSAL/VASL with the combined application window, the PAGE_DOWN key works as expected.

Am I the only one with this problem, and how do I fix it?

What you’re likely seeing is that the window containing the forwards
button isn’t focused when you’re hitting PgDn.
