If you are new to Paths of Glory, read the rules, wonder what it is really like, and surf here but never commit, I am your guy. I was just like you. It is a great game.
I signed up months ago, and I am 1/4 to 1/2 my way through my first few games. I can help you learn as I do, and (bonus) I don’t really know the real strategies yet any better than you. It is a good simulation of WW! in that it takes a long time for major results. I have lots to learn about the game - like you. I finally sorta get VASSAL, so I can help with that a little.
I am looking for a PBEM, and can do about 2 to 3 times a week. Realistically, it takes maybe takes 10 to 20 minutes of your day, but you will think about WW1 at odd times during the days between. It haunts you.
I am reliable over decades of PBEM Diplomacy. We play until you, I win, or you need to stop for real life or such. I know how that goes sometimes. No issue.
