Hi,

Want to support via PayPal but I can’t due to the regulation of PayPal which doesn’t allow Japanese accounts to donate via PayPal. Do we have any options to cope with this? Just for information, I can complete payment in BGG without a problem via this page boardgamegeek.com/support . Or I guess I can send the money instead once I get the PayPal account for vassalengine.org.

I don’t understand the problem. Why are you able to donate to BGG but
not to use, when both are using PayPal?

I don’t understand the problem. Why are you able to donate to BGG but
not to use, when both are using PayPal?

Hi Joel,

PayPal provides a web part for accepting contributions which is called Donate button [1] and the transaction I was referring is the one with use of Donate button, not Buy Now button for a single-item purchase payment. I guess BGG has set up the web part for payment by customizing Buy Now button that is most probably I don’t see any problem with making payment over BGG.

BTW, I have a PayPal account and I should be able to send the money over PayPal Web Portal if you could provide the email address which is the ID of the account.
