How exactly do you do Peer to Peer? i know you need a port and IP for each computer. When I used to try this awhile ago with HPS games I had no luck because i am sure of my firewall router. The IP I get when I do IP config I think is a private IP that is not the IP to give out. What types of things should I be doing on my router or firewall to get this to work?
When you select peer-to-peer in the Server preferences, you’ll get a connection dialog that should report what your external IP is. You need to configure your firewall to allow incoming connections on port 5050. Then your opponent can enter your IP on his side and connect.
