Could the Select function on Place / Replace Marker trait remember the location of the last used item for the module being edited (permanently, or at least during the current edit session) ? This means that the next use of “Select” on any Place/Replace Marker trait will present the same location/piece as a default; chances are that this piece won’t be the one that’s required, but it is very possible that the one required will be nearby, easing the edit process:
