I’ve restarted the server, with a modification which should aleviate the
problem. The problem was that threads which replied to clients were not
being stopped when clients disconnected. This caused threads to accumulate
as the server ran. Eventually a hard limit would be reached, which
prevented the server from starting any new threads for incoming connections.
