Port 47474 and syncronize

Hi
I’ve observed when I,m using an application that uses this port I can’t syncronize to others in a game and others can’t syncronize with me. I can connect to vassal but I can’t syncronize.
Any advice?
PD. The application is realmspeak, the java programm to play Magic Realm

Normal port for Vassal is 5050. You might try opening this port in your firewall/router and see if that makes a difference.

I can’t think of any reason why that should be. We don’t use that port
for anything. Are you sure it’s not also trying to use 5050?
