Originally we used the latest Twilight Struggle mod 3.1.2 When we had problems with that mod crashing using vlogs and PBEM, we switched to the vmod avail on the Twilight Struggle website which is Twilight-Struggle-Deluxe 3.04a available here :

Using the latest TS mod for a PBEM game, I was able to successfully open and play through my opponent’s vlog and start/save a new vlog after my turn. When sent to my opponent, he was able to open my vlog, play through it, but when he tried to complete his turn VASSAL crashed. We tried this multiple times with the same result. Then we tried switching to the TS mod available on the GMT Games website. This worked for a turn or two but now I can’t open the vlog he has sent me (and we’ve tried recreating it a number of times with the same effect). Interestingly I can open his vsav but not his vlog.
Get the following error when trying to load my opponent’s vlog:
- Twilight Struggle version 3.04a
- Loading USSRSetupHealineReveala.vlog
- Error loading USSRSetupHeadlineRevela.vlog
Have attached my opponent’s vlog that I am unable to open successfully.
