I can’t start a new game in vassal (3.7.14 x86 64) Red Storm. the new game option is greyed out.
Can you be more specific about which module isn’t working? There are at least two games named Red Storm, and one of them has several modules.

I see no New Game option, disabled or otherwise, on the File menu when I load Baltic_Approaches_Vassal_v6b.vmod:

Here’s my experience from looking at these modules–both in actual usage and the Editor.
Red Storm: Baltic Approaches
There is only one predefined setup in the module, so it gets loaded automatically. In short, you’ve already started a new game and are in it. You can see the filename of the predefined setup in the window’s title bar: Baltic Approaches Map Template v2.vsav
Red Storm
This module includes no predefined setups at all, so again it takes you right into a “blank” setup. It looks like nothing has happened because the game map is not configured to automatically display. To view it, you have to use this toolbar button:
It’s important to note that there is no such thing as a universally-present “New game” option in every module’s File menu that has somehow gone missing. What will show here is the name of any predefined setups present in the module, or the name of a folder of predefined setups if the creator chose to organize them that way.

so I will just have to set up scenario by myself according to scenario book. Thats OK. Where do I find the actual flights of aircraft. I have found lots of other ounters but no flights?
does any one know how to acess flights in the game?
