Reference Manual: Mask typo?

Is the meaning of masked in this segment backwards ?

If the masking is by Any Player , however, the piece will be masked to the player playing that side—​but if no player is currently playing that side the piece will become unmasked.

Should the segment read this way, or am I mistaken ?

PS At last I understand why masked cards behave slightly different between two very similar modules that I have been working on! Any Side vs Any Player!!

Ah, took me a minute to find that. Use of the term “masked to” was probably a bit confusing I have changed it to “owned by” and made a few more clarifying updates to that section.
